Chris Brown ruffled a few feathers after he commented about Rihanna’s sexy Barbados costume on her Instagram page on Monday. It appears that he still has wild thoughts about his ex.
Wild Thoughts:
It’s no secret that singer, Rihanna, is proud of her Barbados heritage and she often returns to the Caribbean for their traditions and festivities. Putting rumors of pregnancy to rest, she looked gorgeous in her beautiful costume as she celebrated the annual Crop Over Festival in her native country on Monday. As always, after posting photos of herself in her show-stopping creation, Rihanna got everyone’s attention, including her ex, Chris ‘Breezy.’ The 29-year-old songstress rocked a bejeweled bikini, with matching garters and huge plumed wings for the colorful harvest celebration.
Chris’ Comment That Pissed Off Many
Among the many comments praising Rihanna for her beauty, Chris Brown left a comment as well. Below her Instagram selfie, Brown posted a pair of eye emojis, which infuriated her fans. The comment indicates that C Breezy is in love with RiRi’s outfit, like everyone else. Can you blame him? She looks like a Caribbean Goddess and it’s hard to deny how sexy she looks. Well, maybe he should have silently trolled her page as Rihanna’s fans weren’t having it. Chris knows that Rihanna was the sauce.
Given the history of their relationship, many of Rihanna’s fans told Chris to keep his eyes to himself. Of course, Twitter had some things to say about C. Breezy’s comment. Honestly, because of their violent relationship past, I thought that Chris would have been blocked from Rihanna’s page, but clearly he’s not. Back in 2009, Breezy was charged and convicted of assaulting Rihanna, who was his girlfriend at the time and it’s an incident that Rihanna’s fans were quick to remind him of after his googly eye emoji comment:

None of us have forgotten about what happened. Chris and Rihanna have known each other since 2005 as friends, but they didn’t admit to being in a relationship until around 2008. By now, we all know their young love was brought to a screeching halt in 2009 after an argument between the couple escalated to Brown getting violent with Rihanna, leaving her with physical injuries. Speaking about the distressing incident, Rihanna told Vanity Fair the following:
I just never understood that, like how the victim gets punished over and over. It’s in the past, and I don’t want to say “Get over it,” because it’s a very serious thing that is still relevant; it’s still real. A lot of women, a lot of young girls, are still going through it. A lot of young boys too. It’s not a subject to sweep under the rug, so I can’t just dismiss it like it wasn’t anything, or I don’t take it seriously. But, for me, and anyone who’s been a victim of domestic abuse, nobody wants to even remember it. Nobody even wants to admit it. So to talk about it and say it once, much less 200 times, is like … I have to be punished for it? It didn’t sit well with me.
Chris Brown acknowledged his wrong doing and spoke about his mistakes. Chris spoke openly in his 2017 documentary about the incident
I felt like a f***ing monster. I was thinking about suicide and everything else. I wasn’t sleeping, I wasn’t eating. I just was getting high.
While Rihanna’s fans haven’t forgiven Chris Brown, the two are reportedly in a good place.
