Maybe someone should have tried to stop Bill Cosby from sexually harassing women over the years. He was paying a woman child support for 25yrs for a child that he thought was his. He always has so much to say about how other people should conduct their lives, while his is not pristine. Go sit down Bill!

A person has to want help, you can’t watch them 24 hours, if they didn’t want help, what was the family suppose to do, a addict will find a way to get high no matter what, both are gone way too soon.

Ia understand what Mr. Cosby was saying. It was something that needed to be said!! Everyone knows but does nothing to help the situation until its to late! I did not personally know either one but have dealt with this kind of situation. But, he makes a valid point.

I think Mr. Cosby is wrong in blaming the families. You can talk to them and pray for them but it’s up to them to get the help that they need but they first have to realize that they are in need of that help.

As someone who has experienced this from both sided’s of the coin…I understand what Mr. Cosby is saying…families can enable…however, they were adults and ultimately…when fighting addiction, you take no prisoners other than yourself. It’s your personal hell and you are certainly in denial. Its easier said than done…I am sure they were both offered help, and to some extent ended living secluded lives as their addictions progressed…we can force someone into rehab, but what good is that if they don’t want help…they just end up becoming more distant and in some cases cut all ties…I know this for a fact…most addicts don’t intentionally want to hurt family…they want to be loved and excepted, they want to be “normal” not always looking from the outside in. Its complex and its very difficult for all involved…Dr Feelgood was very aware of what he was doing…that is who I am upset with!!

Two of which were with him up to the point of his rehearsals of This Is It. His mother was welcome in the home he lived in whenever she wanted to come. She could see her grandkids at her leisure. I think Bill’s issues have more to deal with himself. I believe Cosby’s telling the truth. But I’m no angel. I’ve done drugs and alcohol. And I cheated on my relationships, and I wont do it any longer. We all have that family member that “can’t get right”. It’s exhausting, stressful and heartbreaking watching them spiral out of control. You do everything you can. Try to help as much as possible but in the end, it has to be them to do the real work of getting help. I appreciate Bill’s opinion but the families are hurt enough. I believe they DID do all that they could. We shouldn’t judge them and place all the blame on them. Afterall we weren’t there and aren’t there now. We’re on the outside looking in.

Two of which were with him up to the point of his rehearsals of This Is It. His mother was welcome in the home he lived in whenever she wanted to come. She could see her grandkids at her leisure. Everyone else had to go through channels to see him. Yes he had a addiction, but his family was unconcerned with that. They were more in tune with his money. And his security team knew that.
