Nick Gordon better get ready because from the looks of it, he’s about to cough some major bread after a Georgia judge has just found him legally responsible for the death of the late Bobbi Kristina. In other words, Bobbi’s estate has just won the $50 MILLION WRONGFUL DEATH LAWSUIT against Nick. Check out the details below…
Via CNN: A Georgia judge has found Nick Gordon legally responsible for the death of his girlfriend, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
Gordon failed to show up to a civil hearing at the Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta on Friday. This is the second hearing he’s missed. As a result, Gordon was found in contempt of the order and the judgment was made “by default.”
Brown’s estate filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Gordon last year, alleging he beat her up after a “cocaine and drinking binge.” The estate also claimed that Gordon gave Brown a “toxic cocktail” that caused her to pass out.
CNN’s Faith Robinson spoke to Nick Gordon by phone. He said he had no comment on Friday’s ruling. The court ordered a jury trial to determine damages in the case.
An attorney for Brown’s estate, R. David Ware, wrote in a statement that the estate would pursue collection of any determined judgement with “fervor.”
Word quickly started spreading after a Georgia news journalist for 11Alive, Jennifer Leslie tweeted:

It cost him dearly. The court found a pattern, said he ignored orders and court dates. https://t.co/4BjSSiMULU

We’re not sure why Nick skipped two court dates but he should have known he was treading on thin ice by doing so, at least from a legal standpoint. Although his legal team has previously stated that the $50 million wrongful death lawsuit BobbiKris’ estate filed against Nick is “slanderous and meritless.”
As far as the criminal investigation into Bobbi Kristina’s death, Nick was listed as a ‘person of interest’ but as today, there have been no criminal charges filed against him.
