Days after R&B legend, Peabo Bryson, suffered a heart attack, an update on the 68 years young singer has been given.
A representative for Peabo Bryson tells I LOVE OLD SCHOOL MUSIC that his health is on it’s way back to a full recovery, but he’s currently still on the mend. Here’s what the rep explained:
“We are happy to report that Double Grammy / Double Oscar Award-winning balladeer, Peabo Bryson, is on his way to making a full recovery!
Mr. Bryson is still listed in stable condition and is improving, rapidly. The family continues to request privacy, but extends their deepest gratitude and appreciation to friends and fans for the outpour of love and support expressed throughout this experience.”
As far as his upcoming concert dates, the rep says a few of them for the month of May have been canceled, and offered instructions for fans who have bought tickets to the following show dates:
“Concert dates in May have been canceled so that Mr. Bryson can continue his rest and recovery. These dates include:
Efforts are being made to reschedule these performances; however, fans who have purchased tickets are encouraged to call local box offices for details and instructions.”
As we reported recently, the “Feel The Fire” crooner suffered a heart attack at his Atlanta, GA. home on the morning of April 27, 2019. He was rushed to the hospital and at that time his condition was unknown. A couple days later, his rep’ said his family was grateful for “the thoughts and prayers of friends and fans,” and confirmed that he was listed in stable condition, though no further details were given, until now.
