Usher’s name has been dragged through the mud by a number of people who claim he exposed them to Herpes. Then, to make matters worse, the “Confessions” singer’s accusers allegedly aren’t just women. So, of course, his face has been plastered on tons of cruel memes. Although his legal team has reportedly claimed he does not have Herpes, he’s still facing lawsuits from accusers. But, apparently, he has news for his accusers.
Not Backin’ Down:
According to TMZ, insiders close to Usher claim he has absolutely no plan to settle with his accusers. Of course, throwing money around would probably make this nightmare go away, but Usher reportedly has no desire to give his money away just to make his accusers go sit down somewhere. Usher and his legal team are said to be reviewing the financial end of the legal battle to determine whether or not it would be beneficial to continue the fight in court or settle out of court. But despite the financial perspective, Usher reportedly has no plan to cave anytime soon.
So Much Legal Drama:
The latest news follows a string of reports about court documents that have been filed detailing the singer’s alleged condition due to the sexually transmitted disease. Although Usher reportedly insists his highly publicized accuser, Quantasia Sharpton, simply “isn’t his type,” she isn’t the only one who claims Usher exposed her to the virus. He may not be interested in paying off his latest accusers, but shortly before Quantasia made headlines, it was revealed that Usher previously settled with a woman who was reportedly one of his ex-wife’s friends.
It has been reported that Usher cheated on Tameka Foster with one of the bridesmaids in their wedding. That bridesmaid reportedly received $1.1 million from the settlement. Even though Usher reportedly denies having Herpes, many speculate that the settlement may have been “hush money” to keep the information from leaking. But despite the speculation, Usher isn’t backing down and insiders claim he also plans to countersue those who have accused him of Herpes exposure. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this situation will be resolved anytime soon.
