because apparently if wasn’t Kelly’s fault. It was the fault of the show’s promoters who were supposed to pay Kelly for traveling all the way out there and doing the gig, but the promoters allegedly pulled a jack move and kept all of the audience’s money.

So R. Kelly, who was right outside of the venue, quickly hopped on his social media page to let his fans know what was up and why he wasn’t stepping on that stage. Here’s his video message…

I know one thing, if those promoters are smart, they’ll give those concert goers their money back, that’s the least they can do after causing all of this unnecessary ruckus and money spending. A lot of them probably spent money on new outfits, the ladies probably spent money at the hair salons and nail shops, all for this ill-planned R. Kelly event. It’s a good thing Kelly made sure he put out a personal message to give the facts about what went down, because this could have caused a lot of misguided backlash for him, had he not done that.

Hopefully Tolleson, AZ will get their R.Kelly concert soon because that’s one performer who never disappoints once he hits the stage.
