Wendy Williams is really catchin’ hell these days as body shamers have been dragging the talk show host all over social media. First, Wendy made headlines while on vacation in Barbados. The former radio personality was rockin’ a bikini on the beach and Twitter went wild. Now, Wendy is at it again, but this time there’s no bikini. Wendy actually debuted a new costume over the weekend, and unfortunately, the social media reaction hasn’t been too great.
Wonder Woman Or Nah?:
On October 6, Wendy Williams attended the New York Comic Con and like many other celebrities she came dressed as a superhero, reports The Jasmine Brand. Dressed as Wonder Woman, Wendy was photographed with Batman, The Green Hornet, and many other legendary superheroes. With the upcoming release of the highly anticipated Marvel film Justice League, of course, the costume was befitting for the occasion, but after the photos and videos of Wendy surfaced on social media, many people argued that the Wonder Woman costume just wasn’t befitting for Wendy.

Dragged Yet Again:
Shortly after the photos surfaced, the opinionated tweets began pouring in. While some fans found Wendy’s costume to be rather creative, others were more focused on her figure. Many people argue that the Wonder Woman costume may not have been right for Wendy. Some of the comments have been absolutely ruthless.
Wendy Williams loves showing off her body/lack of, I ain't into body shaming, especially if you're old but damn a Wonder Woman body suit?

For most social media users, it looks like the problem centers around Wendy’s relentless judgment toward others. By now, everyone has heard about Wendy’s “Hot Topics” segment on the Wendy Williams Show and she definitely doesn’t hold back when it comes to sharing her opinion of others. So, social media users aren’t holding back with her either. But despite the criticism, Wendy has made it clear she can take it, the same way she dishes it out. The latest criticism follows Wendy’s response to the criticism she faced for the bikini photos. Wendy simply reiterated how everyone is entitled to their opinion.
“Yes, I am 53. And yes, I still dip it and do it in a bikini with perky boobs and a flat belly, and if I got no behind, I can buy one like the rest of you all,” she said with her signature sass. “I don’t want front and back. Like, I’m done with that. So, you know, I have a flat behind. I talk about it all the time. I’m shaped like a capital P… I can joke about myself before you ever joke with me. We were having the time of our lives. We totally thought we were by ourselves,” Wendy told People about her vacation. “I don’t care when people talk about the way I look, because as long I love what I see when I get out of the shower, as long as [my husband] loves what he sees when I slip into bed, and as long as my son is not embarrassed by overweight or underweight mommy, I’m good,” Wendy added.
So, once again, it’s probably safe to say Wendy doesn’t care what the haters say.
