Uh-oh ILOSM fam,’ Vivica Foxx is about to “set it OFF” across these social media streets, with her latest statements regarding her former co-star’s ‘self-righteousness.’

In a recent episode of “The Wendy Williams Show”  (video below) — which Vivica Foxx was guest-co-hosting — the “Set It Off” legend let it be known how she really feels about the now-infamous Will-Smith-Chris-Rock-Oscars-Awards slap. She also had a few things to get off her chest about how Jada’s currently handling the situation.

As y’all already know, during Oscars 2022 Will Smith slapped the hell outta Chris Rock, after Chris made a joke about Jada lookin’ like “G.I. Jane.” Apparently, Rock tapped a nerve in Will that had seemingly been brewing for quite some time. It was even more painful because Jada has alopecia, which Chris Rock said he wasn’t aware of at the time.

Jada recently addressed the slap on “The Red Table Talk,” where she stated, “My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile.” She added, “the state of the world today, we need ’em both. And we all actually need one another more than ever. Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s keep figuring out this thing called life together.”

Vivica Foxx’s Reaction To Jada & The Slap

Like many, Vivica feels that Jada is coming across a tad too self-righteous, and lacking accountability for the role that she played in all of this. Simply put, Viv’ thinks it was wrong for Will to “assault” Chris Rock on stage for a joke that she personally didn’t find “all that bad.” However, Vivica also thinks that because Will was defending Jada in that moment, Jada should have also addressed the situation with some accountability in the role she’s played within the brewing tension between Will and Chris:

“I felt to be a good partner, there was no accountability. Will Smith was defending her honor. That was …the reason he walked on stage and slapped [Chris Rock] because he felt like his wife had been offended. So for me to see no accountability as a partner… Also let’s not forget that Chris Rock was assaulted — we cannot forget that — for basically telling a joke, that I felt wasn’t that bad…”

She continued:

“I have love for the Smiths. I know their children, I’ve watched them grow up. I just wish that ‘we’ could’ve had a little bit more accountability…and for it to not seem so self-righteous on Jada’s part. And that’s my feelings.”

Viv’ also pointed out that the first time an all-African-American staff produced the Oscars 2022 ceremony was overshadowed by the slap:

“Let’s not forget that this show was executive produced by Will Packer, an African American man. This night was night for African American and diversity for Brown and Black people, that now will forever be scarred.”

Many fans feel the same as Viv’ on this matter, with some pointing out the before-and-after actions of Jada during the Oscars fiasco. Fans noted how Will initially laughed off Chris Rock’s controversial “G.I. Jane” joke, until glancing over at his non-laughing wife, which seemingly prompted Will to get up and slap Chris in Jada’s honor. Fans also noted how Jada then appeared gleeful, with a smile on her face as she chuckled watching Chris stand on stage in disbelief following the slap.

Additionally, it didn’t go unnoticed by fans that lately, Will has put up with much public ridicule and embarrassment, as a result of Jada’s confessed actions (i.e. her prior lengthy affair with singer, August Alsina; reportedly confessing she once had a sex-addiction and therefore wasn’t sexually fulfilled by Will at one point in their marriage; the ongoing Tupac dating rumors, which Jada denies, etc., etc.).

So, does Vivica Foxx have a good point about Jada’s accountability, or lack thereof? Let us know how you feel about this HERE.
