ILOSM family we’ve been seeing this actress on the big screen since the 70’s. She’s starred in some of our favorite films and TV shows and has left a long lasting impression on the hearts of us true Old Schoolers. There is one thing in particular that is a dead give-away about this her. Look closely at her baby pic and see if you can figure it out…then scroll down to see if you’re right…
The actress is Debbi Morgan! depending on which era you came up in you either mostly know her from her role in Roots: The Next Generation, from her appearances on Good Times or What’s Happening, from her infamous roles as “Angie Baxter Hubbard” on the soap opera All My Children, from the 90’s film Eve’s Bayou, the 1976 movie The Monkey Hustle, or from the 90’s film, Love & Basketball. Of course her list goes on and on, but those were her most successful roles to date.
The thing that was a dead giveaway were her signature dimples. Give yourself a handclap if you actually caught that.
Okay now we must point out the obvious – that Debbi Morgan is 61 years young and she is clearly making 61 look like the new 31! Do you see how flawless this woman is?!! Good Lawd, she is still fine!

As far as what Debbi’s doing nowadays, she’s doing a LOT. She released her memoir, “The Monkey On My Back” and she’s also just completed her one-woman stage play of the same title; She has just wrapped filming for the film, Meet the Royals, also starring Vivica A. Fox, Richard Lawson (also known as Beyonce’s new step-daddy because he married her mother Tina a few months ago), Romeo Miller (Master P.’s son), and others.
Debbi’s also been getting great reviews for her role on the popular new hit series, Power, also starring 50 Cent, Naturi Naughton, LaLa Anthony, and Omari Hardwick.
So as you can see, Debbi’s not slowing up any time soon. Her personal life is great too. She spends her days chillin’ with her husband, Jeffrey Winston, whom she wed in 2009 and in case you were wondering how she keeps her looks on point, here it is…
Go ‘head Debbi Morgan! You’re representin’ the Old School very well and showing these youngins how it’s really done!
