Last night, part three of The New Edition Story aired on BET and fans across the country had their popcorn on deck and tuned in to watch the finale. In fact, New Edition may even have a new generation of fans now that their story has been shared. However, there’s one epic mistake many viewers (who are clearly new N.E. fans) have made about the group and that glaring oversight has New Edition fans livid. Apparently, there are lots of people who still don’t know the name of New Edition even after watching their movie!
New Name?:
It looks like there are a lot of people who think the group’s name is New “Addition,” instead of New Edition. And although many of those same viewers posted complimentary tweets about the movie and the group -even including the hashtag #NewEditionBET in their tweet- they still misspelled the group’s name repeatedly. Needless to say, N.E.’s loyal Old School fans showed up and showed out on social media to put the New “Addition” fans in check over this…
