It’s been a tough week for Wendy Williams. The talk show host has been trying to put on a brave face after rumors emerged that her husband had a baby with his mistress.
She was spotted downcast and somber – without her wedding ring – in New York City on Thursday. Her sad appearance comes just hours after a spokesperson for The Wendy Williams Show announced the show would be going on hiatus next week.
The Show Will Return On April 8th
“The Wendy Williams Show is taking a previously scheduled spring break hiatus and airing repeat episodes during the week of April 1st,” the spokesperson said in a statement to Page Six. “The show will return with original episodes on April 8th.”
The scheduled break seems to come as a complete coincidence to the drama filled goings on in William’s personal life. Earlier this month, Williams vowed to stand by her husband of over twenty years Kevin Hunter.
“Marriages are not easy. And don’t ask me about mine until you see [my wedding ring] gone – it ain’t going anywhere, not in this lifetime,” she said on her show.
She Checked Herself Into A Sober House
The 54-year-old only return to her Emmy-nominated show last month. Williams came back to her show on March 4 following a two-month gap Williams said was to seek treatment for her Grave’s disease.
But just a few weeks later, the mom-of-one admitted she was actually living in rehab clinic.
