This just goes to show that things aren’t always what they seem, but the good thing to come out of this is that just like the late, great Dr. Maya Angelou always said: “When you know better, you do better” and exposing this ice cream truck song’s history gives us all an opportunity to do just that and to clean up the cloth of America a lil’ bit more.
