Katt is never a stranger to controversy, whether we’re talking about his many arrests, or his lawsuits. This time is a little different though, he’s now stirred up controversy simply with his views about slaves. While discussing his opinion about the recent police shootings and BlackLivesMatter movement, his outlook about his ancestors also crept out.

“We cannot afford as a society to put off things anymore. As Black men we have to realize that OUR ANCESTORS WERE SOFT AS TWINKIE FILLINGS. If you don’t die, rather than be a SLAVE, then you know what that makes you, and so that’s what it makes your ancestors and that’s the end of that. Spartan said ‘We will die before we allow you to…if not, we will take it.’ So you know, you breed what you breed.”

“But at the end of the day, we’re at a different place as minorities, we’re at a place where we realize that anything that could be done was already done by better people than us. So if they [law enforcement] appreciated Martin Luther King and his marches, then they should’ve acted like it. And the next time they come around…it ain’t no marches, it’s just marching at you and that’s the end of that because…we’ve already done enough. We’ve already been Kings and slaves on the same ground.”
