Once you’re at the point where you need to consider a lie detector test to prove if your innocence…things are pretty bad. That’s what happened to our man, Johnny Gill, and his ex-fiancee,’ Carissa Rosario.
This lie detector test wasn’t about if he cheated, stole, or lied about being somewhere that he wasn’t…this test tested Johnny’s truth about his sexuality! We’ve all heard the unproven rumors about Johnny Gill and Eddie Murphy being more than ‘just friends.’ Johnny has had to say, on numerous occasions, that he’ is not gay.
However, as much as some folks will constantly believe otherwise, there’s no reason not to believe him. Okay, maybe their “bro-mance”, (a close, but nonsexual relationship between two men), is a bit too much for some, but what more does Johnny have to do to prove it?
Well, the New Edition star’s ex-fiancee’ needed concrete evidence that he was not, is not, nor has ever been gay. Therefore, Johnny took a lie detector test to prove his sexuality to his ex. Check out what Johnny Gill had to say about this during a prior interview on The Breakfast Club…
“It wasn’t about the people that I wanted to prove it to. I was dating my ex and I remember her coming back to me one day saying, ‘I’m hearing all this stuff about this and that, and you and Eddie,’ and I’m like, there’s no way. I said, ‘Do you believe that stuff?’ She said ‘No, but people are saying this and that.’
So my thing was, I’m not laying in bed next to a woman that I’m supposedly talking about marrying and being a part of my life, and I’m worried, ‘are you sitting here having any doubts?’ It wasn’t her fault because you live in a society where…it’s crazy because this is part of what comes with the territory. And at the time I was pissed, and you’re going, ‘Who said it because I’m going to whip somebody’s a**.’ But it was a bunch of people’s a**es to whip.”
Check out the video up top and let us know what you think. Do you think that he went too far to prove his sexuality, or was it his responsibility to prove it?
