ILOSM family, y’all remember singer, Tweet, right? Of course, you do, because who could forget her classic 2000’s hits like, “Oops (Oh My)” and “Call Me.” She and Missy Elliot were a creative force to be reckoned with every time they hit the studio together. There were always three things that wow’d me about Tweet- (1) Her soothing voice and vocal ability; (2) Her ability to write melodies that could put a grown man to sleep like a soothing lullaby; and (3) the fact that she ages backwards like Brad Pitt did in Benjamin Button.

One look at Tweet today and it’s hard to believe that she is two years shy of 50, with a 29 year old daughter at that. Speaking of her gorgeous daughter, that be’s the the topic of this article. Just like our headline stated, Tweet and her daughter, Shenice, had a rocky mommy-daughter past (we’ll get to that in a minute), but years later they healed from their pain and are now very close.

Additionally, Tweet recently could not contain her composure when revealing the latest work her daughter has done with singer, Solange Knowles (Bey’s sis’) and she has now shared her proud mommy moment with the world.
